With the WipEout Omega collection upon us it’s reignited our love of the anti-gravity racing series and reminded us just how much fun it is to hurtle at supersonic speeds around narrow tracks with electronic music blaring out. To celebrate the release of the HD, Fury and 2048 games remastered for the PS4, we’re having a very special competition… we’re going to WipEout our gaming tat collection (see what we did there?). Delving through our drawers and shelves we’ve picked only the finest gaming, comic and movie junk that will fill a shoebox, and it could be yours. But what do you have to do to win this Codec Moments Loot Box? Simple, just own a copy of WipEout Omega Collection and prove you’re the fastest pilot in the UK.

We’re looking for the fastest time for 1 lap around Anulpha Pass in Speed Lap mode under Venom Class and using whatever ship you prefer.

Proof of your lap time needs to be Tweeted to us, @CodecMoments, using #CodecLootBox so we can update the leaderboard on this page. Set the fastest time by midnight GMT on the 28th June and you could win the mysterious crate. There are currently 10 ~~bits of tat~~ goodies in there at the moment, with the chance more might get thrown in over the next few weeks… possibly even a game or two. Even if you don’t win, this might help you get that elusive Beat Zico trophy – and you’ll be entered in the draw for a bonus prize, just submit a lap time to be put in the hat.

Our standard terms and conditions apply, and unfortunately we can only send out the prize within the UK, but we encourage everyone to take part. You can submit as many lap times as you like, but only your quickest will be recorded. Lap times set outside of the WipEout Omega Collection Speed Lap mode and Venom Class will not be eligible for the leaderboard. The full details of the prize content will only be revealed once it’s landed with the winner.
