Rebellion are one of the most underrated studios in the UK. Aside from the excellent Sniper Elite series, they’ve been responsible for Aliens vs Predator, Ground Control and Battlezone. They also own 2000 AD comics which means they are working on print, TV and film as well as games. The independent studio always manages to deliver what gamers want – entertaining, challenging and fun experiences.
At EGX 2017 we got hands on with the next two titles to come from the studio: Strange Brigade and Rogue Trooper Redux. The first is a co-op puzzle shooter where the pedigree of Sniper Elite comes through to help construct a chaotic, intense but immensely satisfying 4-player action game. The latter is a full remaster of an often overlooked 3rd person tactical shooter that originally released on the PS2. We managed to pin down Robbie Cooke and Rich May from the Rebellion team to tell us more about them.

Strange Brigade is coming soon, and hopefully we’ll have a release date soon as it’s shaping up to be fantastic co-op fun, and Rogue Trooper Redux is due on the 17th October on all current gen platforms – get your pre-orders in now.
